I'ma let you punks know, I'm a Nu school soldier
Back in the day I watched the commercials for "Disco Fever" and "Totally 80s" and wondered if people in the future would see ads selling the music I had in my super-fresh 200 CD wallet (with stickers from Spencer's on the outside). Sipping my Fruitopia Strawberry Passion Awareness, I laughed that this would never be the case .... my chunky-scratchy riffs were written for the AGES, dude ... not some laughable passing fad to be sold for nostalgia bucks ... ... Well, I was right. No one made a commercial for Nu metal .... they just forgot about it entirely. At least that's what I thought, until I discovered this gem of podcast. It's like I've got that 15 lb CD wallet back, and i'm flipping through it with the friends I never knew I had. Now, you dont always agree with your friends, but I'll guarantee you'll learn something new about the albums you thought you knew inside out and backwards (and all the way through to the secret song). There are some things we've lost for good ... but thanks to the Roach Koach, Nu metal doesn't have to be one of them. Hit the bass-boost button on your Walkman and jam along with Lorin, Jenny and Matt for as long as those AA batteries last.Read full review »

I definitely recommend this podcast to anyone who is open to new music. Thanks to this podcast I have been introduced to many new albums, or bands (ex: Iowa by slipknot, Static-X's Wisconsin Death Trip and Fear Factory's Obsolete)Read full review »
