“Based on the reports I agree that Patrick Garcia does not need to be in the pulpit. I understand young girls being groomed. I have worked with sexually abused, trafficked women and it is heart-breaking. It is clear that Patrick snd Moriah's relationship was not on the same level at all. Her explanations and excuses are hollow. An educated, obviously sophisticated woman who has a good husband and a relationship with Christ should not be vulnerable to being groomed. It is really sad that his immature flattery led her down a road to sexting.
Obviously he was not the only one who was immature with emotional issues. It is not my place to judge her but this podcast did not convince me that she has faced her own responsibility in allowing this to happen. I think anyone with any understanding of human behavior and relationships would rightly call this an affair. I am sorry for those who have been deeply hurt and had their lives ship-wrecked by their actions.”Read full review »
