“I don’t even remember when they said it but once they were talking about when it’s ‘okay’ to take a rest day and it’s something that I still say to myself when I’m just too tired to get up in the morning and run. They said something to the affect of ‘when you replace your normal workout with sleep, that’s when you know you’re too tired to work out that day.’ It was one of the first times I’ve heard of trainers actually giving their followers permission to be human.
