As a host of another gun podcast, I know a good podcast when I hear one
Paul is just killing it. He records three episodes a week, two shorter episodes and a longer interview. *The Friday 15 is a great concept. 15 minutes of distilled wisdom fired at you machine gun style. *His interviews are very different than the average. You can hear others interview the same people and hear the same questions, but when they sit with Paul, it's a completely different interview. You find out much more about people you thought you already knew because you've heard their interviews before on other shows. *Paul's third show is a slightly longer exploration of a topic of interest to gun owners, from 25-45 minutes. Whatever Paul has been thinking about recently. As a firearms trainer of some long standing, Paul has a lot of experience seeing what works and what doesn't, so he's in a good position to explain not just what piece of gear to pick, or what tactic to use, but how to think about the problems you face so you can pick gear and tactics that stand up to the real world. As a podcaster myself, I appreciate the great production values. His audio is very clean. He's easy to understand. His editing sounds very good. The content is five stars and the technical execution is five stars. It's absolutely worth your time. Bottom line: Why should you listen to this podcast? Respect. Paul shows you, the listener, respect. He respects your time, your intelligence, and your good sense. He doesn't waste your time by dragging out a subject. He doesn't insult your intelligence by refusing to explain himself. And most of all, he doesn't insult your good sense by assuming that you can't assimilate what he's saying, put it all together, and make good decisions with the information he's given you.Read full review »
