Should be on everyone’s pod list. Especially time short policy makers and that strange breed of people called politicians who might find some good interesting facts instead of their ideological echo chambers. Challenge your ignorance!

Just a great science show, not quite deep enough but time is an issue. But you get the facts as they see them in an honest grounded format. Keep up the great work Guys👍😊

The mixing of arts and politics only serves to underline the presenter’s skill and the central place science occupies in our broader world. Has been covering global warming for 50+ years. Doesn’t treat you like an idiot. Wonderful broad science show with great pieces on wildlife, physics, and...Read full review »

Having listened to the science show since a child, first on Radio National and more recently via podcast. I am unsubscribing in the hope that it re-focuses. What has great potential and still delivers occasionally (e.g. the summer series) as a forum for new science reporting from overseas and...Read full review »

Have listened to Robbin for many many years and find this show informative and topical. It’s helped me keep abreast of global trends as well highlighting science in Australia. A magnificent show of cultural significance to Australia

I find the science show encourages my curiosity in history, the sciences and music. It is a pleasure to listen.

Globalist preaching about climate change, how wonderful our response to Covid is and a bit of sneering at non-Socialists. Disappointing. Avoid.

Long time listener. This program is one of the ABC’s gems. Listen to it while you still can. Thanks Robyn. You are a legend.

I came for science but instead I got poetry about emus wanting to fly, seaweed art projects, University politics, and endless sermons about climate change. A few informative “sciency” moments but generally lacking in substance.

This is really and truly my favourite podcast. I never ever miss an episode and despite having no science background at all I am always intrigued and enlightened by every episode Thank you to the whole Science Show team for adding to the joy and knowledge of life.

The best podcast around for science news. I love the range of topics, the in depth discussions, and the interesting guests from around the world. I look forward to every new episode.

Robin continues to do a great job. I see several reviews critical of perceived politicisation of the program content. Surely it is within the purview of a general science program to discuss it’s political place in the world?
Idobon via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 10/11/20
Used to be great, but like everything’s on the ABC these days all roads lead to identity politics, great if that’s you thing but if science is your thing then look elsewhere

I love this podcast, Robyn Williams broad range of interests and knowledge, his style and humor, I look forward to it every week. And the music, the soaring music, Bach? CPE? Please let me know.

The Science Show has been running since the mid 1970s. Every week you get an informative and interesting coverage of various scientific topics. Definitely a great place to separate facts from internet disinformation!

Nothing to see here.

I think it’s time the ABC sent Williams out to pasture, if I wanted a podcast on classical music and poetry I’d subscribe to it. Get the people in that do extras over the Xmas break and punt the old guy!

The Science Show is one of the ABC’s gems, one of those that make the ABC our greatest national institution. Australia would be a much better place if politicians on all sides were required to listen to every episode. (Equally, they and in fact all Australians, should watch Landline). Both shows...Read full review »

This show previously covered interesting, relevant and current science topics but has now sadly devolved into just another piece of politically correct light entertainment. Sorry guys but you’ve lost my support.

The Frankenstein episode is really well done, but in the film clips, why has the Mel Brooks version been mixed in with the Kenneth Branagh version without explanation or attribution? Weird way to do things.

Robyn Williams, the presenter, is quite knowlegeable, well read, and an excellent interviewer. He probes for depth and does not waste your time. Great journalism and very down to earth without talking down to the audience.
