“The length of the episodes made me a bit nervous but now I can say it's probaby their greatest strength. I just finished the 7-hour epic on Universal's horror era and I wish there had been 7 more! Each movie and person involved gets their moment of glory and nothing is glossed over in the interest of time. The presenter has a pleasant voice and a nice presentation style that's authoritative while remaining playful. I look forward to many more episodes in the future!”Read full review »
“The narrators voice is so so annoying. Placing huge emphasis on the end of words and sentences in a phoney actor-y voice. Maybe he's a *fail*-ed act-*or*.”Read full review »

“Long form essays on underreported stories of Hollywood.
I've heard the Red Scare story many times, but not framed
through Disney and his animators.
Funny and well-produced.”Read full review »

“In depth. Impressive. Entertaining. A masters class in film history and a must listen for all afficianados. (although perhaps a little hard on John Carradine as Dracula).”
