I love listening to this podcast. Hearing people’s “secrets” makes me feel not so alone in some of my own experiences. I love Ben! He’s such a good interviewer and has a very non judgmental/unbiased way about him. He also just has a great voice. I look forward to every new episode!

Sorry hate the background music it’s very distracting when trying to listen to a story

Pod on Ben!!

I enjoy hearing these stories and Ben is great host. Some are really drawn out and little disappointing. I know these are stories told by individuals but I wish they would learn how to speak a statement without an inflection at the end of a statement. It’s very distracting.

I stumbled upon this podcast at the end of last week and haven’t stopped listening since! I love the format of the show and Ben is such an AMAZING interviewer. The questions he asks and the empathy he shows to the guests is just next level. Absolutely love the range of topics and different types...Read full review »

I like this podcast - nice, compassionate interviewer. Very sad that Sasha’s family passively enabled the grifters to steal what was rightfully the mother’s inheritance. The money and property should go to family not some creepy neighbor.

Ben is truly an incredible podcast host.. the stories are wild and so interesting and he does an awesome job validating these peoples feelings. #1 podcast out there!! thank you!!!!!

I love the questions that the host asks the guest in episode 191. I think he is all of us in that the story doesn’t make any sense. He doesn’t put her out on blast, but he does ask the common sense questions that we are asking while we listen. I guess they didn’t have an alternative episode this...Read full review »

You’re bound to hear something new. Somethings you’ll like, somethings you won’t and some will just make you laugh out loud.

Maddening episode! Why did the family not file a police report and find support organizations for elder abuse cases? So frustrating! The interviewee tells the story like it’s soapy gossip. This poor uncle! Totally illegal! Why didn’t they at least look for legal help! Try at least. My gosh so sad.

I have been binging the show from the beginning and I came across ‘Despicable Houseguest’. I cried from laughing so hard. Ben’s laugher encouraged my laughter. 😂 Probably my favorite episode so far.

When you read the descriptions they do lure you in but when you listen they are a let down. They drag on for too long. Wish they could be edited better to cut out the fluff. Also I don’t get the subscription format if you have ads.

Ben is so gentle and understanding - I could listen to him all day!

For some reason they’ve chosen to provide the weakest material/host/guests for patrons. I haven’t made it through a single ‘special’ episode. Skip it. Rip off.

For $39.99 to hear white girls gossiping. How about some substance and keeping your own reactions out as a host/interviewer. Canceled and never again. I’ll stick with actual worthy content from Ben and guests. Thanks but no thanks.

I’m so addicted to this podcast it’s crazy Lol😬😅 I wish to be as awesome and understand like Ben.. he’s so patient and has a way with words to calm his guests. 🖤

Ben Hamm is terrific with his guests. There is never any sensationalism or salaciousness. Hamm is always appropriate and NEVER makes the program about him. Smart and well prepared and infinitely interesting.

I absolutely love this podcast. It’s intriguing and honest. My only wish is that Ben could be a little less judgmental. I can’t pin point it. But sometimes his questions and tone are judgmental. I understand certain guests are involved in unethical behavior, but isn’t that the point of the show?...Read full review »

Great concept, Respect Hamm but hate the patronising tone in which he asks questions he knows the answer to. Thumbs down.

I love the topic choices, and especially like how Ben tackles subjects and individuals who have more sensitive experiences. He’s very validating and respectful, and I never feel he’s judging or making fun of people’s stories.

This latest conversation was sort of tough to listen to from a moral standpoint, but I can understand how hard it is to extricate yourself from a spider’s web. I do hope that she realizes in advocating for herself that she shouldn’t have to be this Marine’s personal escort. Did he truly help her...Read full review »

Ben is a great podcaster and I am a loyal listener and agree that some fresh stories are needed. There also isn’t much new content put up unless you pay for the subscription service. Please consider balancing free content with paid.

This is the show where the interviewer seems to accept as normal and err acceptable to smoke weed and drive, for people’s grandparents to err look after their grandchildren while they are high? The stories are quite interesting and well told but probably the wrong podcast for me and others...Read full review »

Anna is unflinchingly honest in her story. That took great bravery, and I applaud her for that. There’s not a lot of women out there (including me) that could or would speak honestly about the feelings of reluctance to follow the societal norms of having children. Thank you for sharing

Love this podcast! Quickly became a favorite UNTIL you got money hungry and started charging! 😡 Not everyone can afford to pay for all these subscriptions and I am one of them. So kudos to taking some kind of enjoyment from the disabled.

Being a mom is so hard sometimes. I *think I would do it again now that I know what it really means. Just know if you are struggling with it in some way, you are not alone. Just make sure you are able to keep your child (ren) and yourself safe. If not, let someone know. 💖💙💖

I am not religious but hate how many of the Podcasts bash religions. Early podcasts with Dahlia are terrible. Please do not sing for us. It is not enjoyable. At one time this was my favorite podcast. Overall the newer podcasts are not believable.

I had such a hard time finishing this. Kind of insulting that you thought listeners wouldn’t know… I mean for crying out loud the build up was ludicrous and so painfully, just baaaaad. I stumbled upon this podcast and I love it! I listen during my nighttime walks and it’s so raw and real. Could do without all the sexual ads especially considering a lot of the content is about sexual abuse but advertising is what it is. Definitely a favourite. :)

I listen to a lot of podcasts, but this is the first time I have ever reviewed one. I absolutely love the premise of the show, and each one I have listened to is so interesting. This would be great if you weren’t guaranteed to hear the host make some coded sexist comment or ask a judgmental question about (usually a woman’s) decisions (usually about sex). 🤢
