You don’t need to know more. If he’s hosting, you know it’s going to be good.

Leave the woksters out of the crime drama.

Great. I know ads are unavoidable. Them existing is not my point. The ones featuring Hoda and Jenna are obnoxious as all get out. Neither one of those ladies have podcast friendly voices.

Wow
Jaw dropping twists - really fantastic podcast! Also Keith Morrison is the greatest 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The story is so well told with enough details to have us imagine what was seen by the victims and guilty. This is one of those stories where not only do we have innocent and guilty but one is both. The monster in this story manipulates a man-boy and knows exactly how to get him to do what she...Read full review »

Looking back, I’m surprised they were able to make as many episodes as they did to tell this story but it was one of the better ones and the information was laid out in a way you really don’t know how it will end.

Keith Morrison is the most annoying host. I think he is overacting and he is very annoying. The story was interesting but listing to Morrison was agonizing.
Kattiyya via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/20/23
It’s hard to believe that Jamie is this naïve or was “under a spell” of this women he’s just as much to blame as her . They were planning it for a while and he went along with all of it. They should both fry for taking a innocent man away from his family.

I feel deeply for everyone who was hurt by such a wicked selfish woman. She destroyed everyone’s lives with her predatory selfishness. As always, Dateline does an amazing job covering complicated stories. This is one of the best true crime stories I’ve listened to.

I am sorry but I never been this angry about a podcast until I heard this one and honestly I don’t feel bad for him because he’s just a boy and as the title says he’s an idiot. You should see what patti and jaime look like they both look like something tooked a dump in the middle of the earth.
KingHenryX via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/06/23
This documentary plays like a movie - a movie reel became real life. This story is hard to believe, but it’s true. Jaime is no Fred MacMurray but filled the role of Barbara Stanwyck’s lover perfectly. There are no words for the depths of evil in Patty. Two innocent lives were destroyed by this...Read full review »

To the reviewer who’s a long haul trucker, you must have accidentally sped up the speed for the podcast.. it’s on the bottom left of the screen lol. Cuz it’s a great pod, & I hope you can find where to adjust the speed. Because it’s told at a normal speed, & If you adjust it you can enjoy...Read full review »

They are very entertaining, but you speed up the voices so it’s hard to understand them. I’m a long haul trucker and driving down the road it passes my time. But the voices sound cartoonish

The format was really well made. It kept wanting to keep listening to the very end! I’m hoping the next story will be just as good

Long-time Keith fan here- but besides choice of narrator- this pod missed on every other mark. I could see a decent podcast possibly coming from this debacle- maybe if it wasn’t told from the ridiculous perspective of the gunman… or if it went deep into the twisted psychology of these...Read full review »

Great story with a sad ending.

Leading questions, quick assumptions… yeah. We get it. From minute 2 or 3, it’s clear the primary female subject of this true crime podcast is a black widow. Would be way more engaging with even an *attempt* at an objective tone. Not research methodology, or reliability/depth/breadth of sources....Read full review »

Keith Morrison is the voice of Dateline to me. I enjoy all of the crew at Dateline and each is special in their own way but…… Keith has a relaxing way of interviewing the people on each episode. I have to really concentrate on not falling asleep to his soothing voice. I am Datelines biggest fan....Read full review »

I enjoyed this podcast. Many twists and turns, but is the final 7th episode ever going to drop?

Another GREAT Keith Morrison podcast! I’m hooked. I can’t wait for a second season.
sarahdriggsgarcia via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/18/22
Keith Morrison is my favourite. His dateline cohosts are close behind. I can’t believe this guy was Dumb enough to fall for all this. Gullible. You advertise this woman needs a man enough to kill her husband. It should be a man who is Dumb enough.
Kimxyxyalxyzestrer via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 08/16/22
It’s like watching tv and reading a book. My hands are free and I’m multitasking. Best invention ever. Loved it. I really like dateline, but these series are awesome!
cori_32 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/13/22
Exactly. What?! This woman was just totally insane and Jamie should not have been sent to jail as long as he was, as he was under her influence. Kieth Morrison turned this whole thing into a compelling roller coaster, but it wasn’t as good as other dateline pods like The Thing About Pam or Mommy...Read full review »

It’s a really interesting story but the episodes are super short and the pacing is atrocious. It tends to repeat itself/ recap a lot which is kind of a drag considering that takes up half the runtime and leaves very little real content each time. Also what is this delivery schedule? There’s been...Read full review »

This was the craziest story! My mother in law listened to all 6 episodes during a road trip and could not stop listening to it! You will not be disappointed in this crazy story!
bougielyk_nattu via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/08/22
I really love this podcast, I think people are being way too harsh in their reviews. The story is good and stays interesting throughout, whether you like the people involved or not. The ads are as expected but definitely not as many as some other pods. Plus Keith Morrison is as iconic as ever!
halloweenbean via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/08/22
Anything with Dateline’s Keith Morrison is worth listening to and this is no exception. But, what the heck is wrong with Jaime? He really must be mentally disabled to believe all of these far-fetched plans of his so-called girlfriend. In a way you feel sorry for him, but maybe not because he...Read full review »

Lauraclineney via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/31/22
I absolutely love Keith Morrison on Dateline! His voice is amazing - it has a way of drawing you completely into whatever story he is narrating. It was almost as if I was “watching” an episode on television. I cannot wait for the next story!

The good part of this is knowing that this kid will be somebody’s bottom in jail. What a fool!!

This podcast is truly heartbreaking! I’m so sorry to all involved (excluding that evil piece of work Patty).
Mezzles21 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 07/29/22
Keith always tells a great story, and I enjoyed how they laid this out. With all the twists and turns it is a great listen. I’ve heard this one before and I feel for the family, especially his daughters. You can feel the love they had for their father.
TrueCrimeClub22 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/27/22
Drop all episodes at once. The time in between ruins the story, and episodes are too short. Bad storytelling.

Remember Mr. Obvious? Hymie needs to talk to him apparently. Unbelievable story!
MPK999 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/27/22
Is there going to be an episode 7 that drops? Great series but if there is an episode 7 it didn’t drop last week,… this week?
RioJ78 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/26/22
Jaime is a textbook case of someone suffering from abandonment. So desperate for stability, so starved for affection, and so in need of human connection, of any kind, he was easily “groomed”, first by a teacher, then by Patty Presba, who saw him as little more than a tool. This is NOT a stupid...Read full review »
