Prompt 1: Write down what the new year means to you. Describe how you feel when the new year rolls around.
Prompt 2: If you have positive feelings about it, what are they and why do you think you have those feelings? If you have negative feelings, why do you think you have those feelings?
Prompt 3: Write down 5 areas of your life that you feel you’ve been neglecting over the last 12 months. What symptoms or effects have you noticed in your life that could be caused by these imbalances? Why do you think you avoid spending more time and energy on these areas?
Prompt 4: Write down 5 areas of your life that you think you put too much energy and time into. Why do you think you prioritise them over the others? What does focusing on those areas offer you?
