Full disclosure, I am not a hipster. I am a big honkin' nerd. And as a nerd, I like things and I like them unironically. If you like Serial, don't care who knows it, and genuinely want to learn more about the podcast and its themes, you may think this podcast might be for you. Sadly, you would be mistaken.
This podcast is a round table of the most annoying, self-aggrandizing, "if it's popular, it can't be good," "look! look at how smart I am" hipster blow-hards I have ever heard in podcasting in 8 years of podcast fandom.
If you hate Serial, Ms. Koenig, Mr. Glass, This American Life, etc. this is the show for you.
If the opposite is the case and you're looking for some even-handedness, try Slate's Spoiler Specials on Serial. They actually interview folks who know things about the topics addressed on Serial. And they are interested in genuine critique, rather than obstinacy, I feel.

“This is a great podcast.
By the types of comments left, I would say, go back to listening to programs about the WWF, NASCAR, or Trans Siberian Orchestra.
I have enjoyed the program and the fact the people are real is refreshing.”
