“I truly do not understand why you would dedicate time out of your life to create a podcast, not just an episode but a whole podcast, to something you clearly do not like or understand. The main topic of discussion in every episode is how much the hostess, an obnoxious valley girl type, hates Sarah Koening. Which, who cares at all? But then they go on to talk about how Serial isn't real journalism which it never claims to be in the first place. (Btw, hostess, is The Onion where you work real journalism? No, but it's not supposed to be, so no one cares.) And they drill Koening about being biased towards Anaan being innocent despite their clear bias against him which doesn't allow for any good commentary. Being completely set in your opinion no matter what comes up each week (which they admit to by the way) makes it nearly impossible to critique it fairly or in an interesting way.
