Deep Conversations About Supposedly Fluffy Things
There's a very select list of podcasts that I listen to weekly without fail, and The Sewers Of Paris is on that list. Matt Baume, the host and creator, is insightful, doesn't insist upon himself, and facilitates great conversations with gay men (mostly artists) about the culture that has influenced them, and how it made them who they are. The best episodes concentrate equally on the interviewee and his influences, and I love getting into the mind spaces of Matt and his guests.
