This episode is part one of "The 11 Signs That You Probably Grew Up With A Narcissistic Parent." Your parent was probably a narcissist if: 1. She had a strong sense of superiority Her self image is inflated and she feels like she can do no wrong and may put the blame on you which in return will turn into manipulation She may also be judgmental talking down to people or talking down about people coming off rude and disrespectful 2. The second sign that your parent may be a narcissist is, she uses skillful manipulation whether it be good or bad to get what she wants. Example: She uses the guilt trip to make you feel bad about something that she wants you to do often comparing you to your siblings or other people 3. She lives her dreams and goals through you but it’s what she wants you to do, not what you want to do, and will discourage you to do otherwise 4. She is dependent on you and expects you to take care of her for the rest of your life whether it be financially, physically, or emotionally 5. She is inflexible, not only with rules but anything to do with her child including the image in her head of how she wants her child to act and look and will become upset if even minor details deviate from the image that she has of her daughter and any resistance can cause you to be called disobedient or worse!
