Trust me, Tim Kennedy's fingers have penetrated me.
I just listened to the first episode of the Sheepdog Project podcast. A number of people have contacted me asking what the course was all about and why they should attend. Well this is a great way to gain insight into what Sheepdog Response course is about. You'll hear from Mike Simpson a Special Forces Dr and Tim Kennedy an amateur zumba instructor extraodinaire and professional cross-stitching circuit champion. Seriously; if you don't know who he is I don't know how you found this podcast anyhow. They discuss the mindset behind being a Sheepdog and the importance of not only knowing how to shoot and fight but also to keep blood in the good guys. They mentioned they will be inviting some of the other instructors on in future episodes which will be really interesting to hear from them outside of the range and off the mats. I could have listened to them discuss shooting, fighting et al for hours when I attended SDR. People would benefit greatly to hear from Alex, one of the shooting instructors, continue to discuss what one should be focused on when they go to the range. Perhaps discussing different drills and what they should hope to focus on and accomplish when they are at a range practicing beyond shooting holes in paper. Hopefully the podcast also covers crucially serious topics such as why does Shane Steiner wear a Joe Namath-esque mink coat on the range? As for the format, it was a decent length. It could even be a little longer, perhaps an hour, but 45 minutes keeps you wanting more and does not oversaturate you with too much info at once. Overall the podcast did a good job informing listeners there are many aspects to training and you cannot be one diminensional. Interestingly, the podcast has a "clean lyrics" label but I have to imagine there's going to be a lot of editing out of some content if they're going to keep that label. Hopefully they decide not to edit anything.Read full review »

Listening to "And So It Begins" right now. Loving it. Series of small choices is so true. Back in September I decided I was tired of weighing 300 lbs. (I am 6'7", so I can carry some extra weight, but this was enough). I committed to eating better. The Wild Diet by Abel James...Read full review »
