Interesting story but the SIGHING
I feel like it’d be a real solid drinking game- take a shot after every sigh or frustrated harumph you hear. You’ll forget your own name by the end of an episode. It’s maddening. There are some awfully childlike voices going on here and there too, which isn’t bad per se, but doesn’t track with the age the characters are supposed to be. Requires active suspension of disbelief u til you get into a groove. The intro and outtro narrator’s voice drops to a ridiculously low level that sounds incredibly forced and therefore cringy. All that aside, the writing is actually really solid. The background sound and music is excellent and transformative. The story is compelling and very mysterious. I’m addicted to podcasts and I’ve listened to a lot of them. This one is worth a listen if you can get past the few annoying bits I mentioned.

She seems uninterested in what she’s even saying and she sighs her way through each script. She doesn’t sound like someone thinking and...Read full review »
