I appreciate Katie’s humorous conversations with her friends and perspective on American life as someone from Ireland. This podcast will put a smile on your face if you are having a stressful day! One of my favorite podcasts 👏👏👏

I don’t listen to a lot of podcasts. But this one is worth the download. It’s witty, funny, and warm. And Katie Boyle is an absolute delight to listen to either on a podcast or in her standup. I just hope she tours to my city someday. -Ron C

Australia is big ! Had to drive 5 hours there and 5 hours back. Big thanks from a dub in Sydney made my drive fantastic amazing work.

Podcasts keep me company while I clean up after dinner, fold the laundry, etc. Since finding Katie Boyle’s podcast I actually look forward to my evening (and weekend) chores! Conversation about real experiences/timely topics with light humor mixed in.

Unfunny enough to question why/how she is a comedian. Her “good girl innocence” isn’t charming.

This podcast is dope especially the host and I’m digging the vibes. I recommend The Shift to anyone who appreciates informative and entertaining podcasts.

Hilarious podcast

Love some of the topics, caters to such a wide audience - there’s an episode for everyone!! Katie never pretends to be an expert in anything she really lets the guests tell their stories and always keeps an open mind 10/10

Katie is so funny and smart and her guests are too! I’m glad this pod exists. It makes me laugh and makes me feel normal!! 😆

Came upon this podcast from listening to Des Bishops podcast and I’m really enjoying it! It’s lovely! Refreshing to have these open and honest talks with no filters about the world of sex and relationships. Plus, I love Katie’s Irish accent!

Found Katie through Jared Freid and have been binging ever since. She has thoughtful, funny topics and questions for her guests. Also love to hear guests from both Ireland and US! Always looking forward to another episode

Katie and Des - I started listening to your podcast over the Christmas/NY break and am hooked. I wish I had been listening from the start, but better late than never! I have laughed out loud, learned, and been reassured (and I am only on May 2019). Also Katie - I moved to London at 24, and so...Read full review »

I am Brazilian and live in Ireland for a few years now and I’ve been listening to this pod since the beginning of the lockdown. I have to say I learn so much! I recommend it to all my friends. Thanks for all the content you share!

Loved the pod already with Des still on it but somehow Katie is even funnier hosting on her own! She’s a great interviewer and not afraid to het cheeky with her questions ;) Great entertainment!

Love this pod, been a listener from the start. Sorry to see Des go but can’t wait to see where Katie goes with it. Katie is hilarious and I’m sure she’ll get some great guests on. Keep up the great work Katie!! :)

Des is good, but Katie isn’t very good and holds Des back. She can’t communicate and has very little depth or anything to contribute. Love Des’s honesty and wit

I really love all the fearless content and hilarious personal anecdotes. Seriously though, Des needs to stop talking over Katy and any other guests. I don't think it's just down to the Zoom call delay, it seems to be a habit. Super annoying to listen to, and you can sense that it...Read full review »

I enjoy this and listen often but I really feel like Des could do with someone more experienced as a co host. No hate to Katie, she seems lovely, but is completely unsuited to this podcast. She isn’t well informed and just doesn’t cut it I’m afraid.

Love this podcast so much :) I think it could do with a new podcast cover though - maybe a photo of you two, rather than an illustration.
Person1313 via Apple Podcasts · Ireland · 06/16/20
Katie is thick, really holds des back when talking about issues as it’s lost on her or she can’t carry the conversation any further.

Love listening to you guys. Breaks my week up nicely with the Shift on Monday and the Waffle House on Thursday!

I’m a newbie to podcasts. Only started listening to them when lockdown started and realised what great company they are to listen to when I’m home alone with the dog or out in the local park learning how to run (the shift helps distract from the pain of the stitch in my side) 😅 Anyway, the shift...Read full review »

Couldn’t get into this one. I love Des’ own podcast but this one isn’t great. Some of the subject matter is stuff I just can’t relate to, maybe would have been relevant when I was in secondary school or university, but not something interesting to me now, and I’m the same age as Des.
Madhatterscatter via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 05/01/20
Been listening to the shift for ages now it’s always a great listen, just listened to the episode with Aidan and I actually spat out my tea laughing, get him on again he’s gas!

Just stumbled upon this podcast. It is helping me get through the quarantine. It is very funny and gives an interesting insight into Irish culture as compared to American culture. It is very honest without any pretense. Does and Katie are so open, you start thing they are your friends and you are...Read full review »

Des and Katie are the best! I have learned SO much from them. They are honest, open, and engaging. I look forward to listening to them every week and learning something new.

Great episode, am way behind the curve on talking to my kids 😱 but then Des teaching Katy about the ovulation calendar was laugh out loud funny!!! You really just want to wrap her up and take her home!

Can’t say I enjoyed this one, felt too much waffle and trying to fill content, love the show but felt this was more putting out an episode for the sake of it

Relatable, educational, enlightening and highly entertaining too. Love what Des and Katie have created. Keep it up guys!

Lookit, I just love it. I’m 43 and have realised how much I am and have been missing out on! So much fun and I kinda don’t want to catch up because I’m currently listening every day. It actually feels like I have a daily chat with Des & Katie while I’m out trying to get some excercise. Deffo...Read full review »
