I listened to all three of the audio portions of this podcast and am now dumber for it. The historical innacuracies are so blatantly huge that it's absurd. She is attempting to demonize Milton Friedman by falsely associating him with Pinochet. Leftist had tried to do this very same thing in the...Read full review »

Read it, open your mind. Today we can see the truth of what Naome is talking about

Naomi Klein has created a poorly researched and poorly thought out argument in her little theory here. A few things to keep in mind, Naomi Klein is a college dropout journalist, not an economist or even a sociologist or anything related to what she is talking about. Now, not everyone has to be an...Read full review »

Klein fails to even mention that all but 3 countries (North Korea Cuba and Laos) have pushed for privatizations. Klein's ideal economy Sweden, is privatizing banks its stockmarket and pharmasueticals companies. In economic freedom Sweeden 64 out of a 174 countries ranks higher than China 132 out...Read full review »

The biggest lie is usually the first one. When she attributes "the shock doctrine" to a completely out of context Friedman quote, we know her perspective and her goals. None of which are education or truth. But simply another attempt to undermine free market principles without actually talking...Read full review »

Naomi like no other has pulled the curtain back to reveal the free market for what it really is. Far from an economic miracle or functioning by the invisible hand of an economic wizard, it is a fraud run by corrupt little men who seek to dominate the globe and they do it by preying on some of the...Read full review »

I've learned so much from "Shock Doctrine". Ms. Klein tells us the REAL reasons behind the madness of this administration and the NeoCon agenda. Great work Ms. Klein. Thank you.

Naomi's previous work, No Logo and her article Baghdad Year 0 were great pieces of investigative journalism. Hopefully more of the media will follow.Read full review »

Aside from saying "uh" three or four times per sentence, she makes it clear that she doesn't understand much about Milton Friedman or his writings. She takes one minor idea of his out of context, miscontrues it, or deliberately distorts it, and then accuses him of being inconsistent. Friedman's...Read full review »
