Relaxed, breezy, cheerful, always inspiring!
I actually downloaded the iTunes podcast app so I could leave a review. I heard about Shannon through Jennifer Scott's FB feed, now I am gorging myself on Shannon's podcast & blog content. Here is why she's awesome: 1. Right out of the gate, her podcast is better than a lot of old-timers I listen to. She is cheerful, breezy, upbeat & I love the format she employs. 2. Her podcasts cover the topic at hand with numbered steps and practical rationale for each step. I don't agree with 100% of what she says (some of us have mangled feet & physically can't wear high heels), but that's ok. She presents her info in a multitude of scenarios - for example, if you want to create an elegant living space, she acknowledges we may rent, have roommates, or live in a house. All bases covered, and it's all good. 3. They are practical things you can do to spark your joie de vivre. I can't afford a Burberry trench, but my Old Navy one is just as good for my budget, and she acknowledges and even celebrates the different options at different budgets. 4. Who doesn't like French inspired podcasts? Shannon might need a little help with her French pronunciation, but she is by far the most down-to-earth, approachable (and least snobby, if I can say that) Francophile bloggers. I appreciate she admits her budgetary constraints and that makes me like her all the more. Can't wait for her book to come out in January! I will be first to grab it. Now off to gorge myself on more podcasts and blog posts! #omnomnomRead full review »
