I tried this podcast out based on the recommendation of my supervisor who is a minimalist. While I enjoyed the contents at moments, overall I found myself rather annoyed. Her voice is a little too smooth and indulgent. As has been said in other reviews, the podcast would benefit from more of her personality shining through and storytelling rather than vague referencing. Most importantly, this podcast is the height of privilege. As is true in our American culture, minimalism is a new trend for the wealthy. Cooking French food, buying quality clothing, creating a beautiful home- very few people can afford such "simple" staples. I wish this podcast spoke with more consideration to all people rather than just the privileged few.Read full review »
