An excellent resource.
Informative and highly entertaining. The Skeptic’sfguide fills a long neglected void in media: The logical, scientifically valid perspective needed to counteract the coercive, deceptive and harmful messages of incredulous marketers, and charlatans who would subvert the human capacity for wonder to serve their own ends. Not since Carl Sagan’s cosmos has their been such an accessible, clearly communicated, and inspiring presentation of the scientific worldview. Who is this podcast for? Anyone who wants to learn more about science, especially how to think like a scientist, Anyone with an open mind, Anyone who sees value in the fruits of science (and that should include everyone with access to iTunes software). The podcast is ideal for students of science, but also the social sciences, and anyone who would like to be able to think logically, anyone who would like to learn how to make good, fair, and effective arguments, and anyone who wants to learn to defend themselves from those who would manipulate them. Keep up the great work Dr. Novella and fellow Skeptics!

This podcast is a great source for skeptics and those who live by logic. Unlike some other science podcasts they don't take themselves too seriously and have a fun while informing you. Take a listen... you'll be hooked.Read full review »

The guests are always great (even the occasional non-skeptic guest is great, especially Neal Adams in ep. 52) and the commentary by the hosts is always insightful. They do a wide variety of topics, ranging from...Read full review »
