I'm joining the sleepover!
Thank you for this breakdown. Going line by line and explaining the why, how, and background gives armies more insight into how strategic and thought-out BTS’s process and mindset about the music were. You hit the nail on the head about “the next BTS.” People hate us (army) when we explain that the tannies are on a different level of comprehension surrounding music. Pointing out the people who think “I can do that” with a simple aesthetic from your position and knowledge is much needed. They definitely tried to educate non-hip-hop listeners. Unfortunately, people still “listen” but don't “hear” or understand our culture and can't fully digest what the members are trying to say. It’s a struggle. They can’t connect the dots because they don’t have the historical information behind it to understand the relevance of the bars. Rap and hip-hop are not the same!!! Please do a show around that so people know what you mean! I'm sorry. Some hate will come your way because the truth doesn't sit well with many. I appreciate your explanation, as it clarifies why REAL music people support BTS. This ep was a vibe 🙃 I can't wait for more! BebeRead full review »

I grew up in a household full of very diverse music and I don’t spend a day without listening to music. Sleep Deez is a real one. Thank you for voicing in an honest and calm way the things that we, as general public, kinda feel but don’t realise.

This podcast is a great companion to the YouTube series he has started. Both this and the video series leave me feeling inspired, knowledgeable,...Read full review »
