Fun way to waste time
Pat Flynn is fun, a likeable guy, like hearing a friend talking. Though all this content may have golden nuggets, in reality you need to have hundreds of thousand of customers or subscribers to get any of these tips working. And a lot of guests really don’t know what they’re talking about, giving advice about “How to Get 1 million followers in social media and be profitable” when their own Facebook, Twitter fanpages have only 3 thousand. I totally get that “Fake it Till You Make It” approach but in this space you’re talking about entrepreneurs who invest money and time to get their businesses to take off or keep working, entrepreneurs are in debt, and eager to get his business working and this just hurt them and frustrate them more than helping. I say it because I wasted time on these and I’m writing this just to prevent other entrepreneurs waste it too. And this includes all these friends who interviewed themselves in each others podcasts like Lewis Howes, Levesque (I think his last name is), the bearded guy from Create Amazing Online Business, the guy from Social Triggers, they ask the right type of questions to get people excited but these tips don’t applied to the most the average business. Hear it as entertainment is ok, better than other stuff in podcast but think twice before you spend money or time on these “tips”. However if you have a thousands and thousands followers or customers it’s a suggested hearing. This may apply to you.
