I tried really hard to enjoy the podcast. However, his egotistical inflated sense of importance is too much for me. I think he has excellent information, but hard to find between him vigorously expressing how unappreciated he is by the majority of the diet industry. It was very disappointing.

I started listening to them. Majority of the podcast is spent on whining about how bad the fitness industry is and how stupid the consumers are for doing elliptical or treadmill. They never talk about the research behind their claims and explain why one approach is better than other. They don’t...Read full review »

I have no idea how I came across this podcast, but I’m sooooo glad I did!! Mind blown with the psychological background explanations and benefits!! I am truly learning so much! I’m loving the honesty and input of what a healthy lifestyle entails starting from a healthy mindset!

Scott, Mike, and Kevin are killing it. Fitness is such a loose term that is applied to anything that gets your heart rate up and makes you sweat. It is not that I am not ok with that, but as a coach, 99% of people hire me or sign up for a fitness class because they want to look better. Yet,...Read full review »

Just listened to the gastroenterologist interview. As a former graduate research assistant in a university human performance lab I have always been the type to question common practices in search for the “facts”. I say facts instead of truth because human research is not an exact science ( as...Read full review »

Closed minded host who cherry picks studies to suit his confirmation bias. He just regurgitates the same scientifically reductionist dribble about how bad meat and fats are. This podcast has some very important nuggets of information that makes it worth listening to, if you can take it. However, those gold nuggest are literally 6 feet deep in a endless stream of egocentric annoying rants. I’ve been listening to this podcast for only a couple months and I’ve already caught up all the episodes. The sheer amount of instantly applicable training and diet information is unrivalled in any fitness podcast I’ve heard thus far. Definite quality of content without shameless supplement plugs.

If I have to listen to the host brag about his 4 decades in the fitness industry one more time I’m going to vomit.
