The Sneaky Artist is an authentic voice in art. With a natural charisma, Nishant effortlessly gets to the heart of artistic journeys and is able to tease out interesting stories from his interviewees. A real joy and worth a listen whether you are a seasoned artist or not.

I found Nishant’s podcast because of an interview he did with Sandi Hester - I follow her on YouTube. If I’m honest I’m usually not a huge podcast listener. But there’s something that I’m really enjoying with each of his chats. His questions and in fact the whole conversation seem so organic,...Read full review »

I am a fine art painter and LOVE this podcast. The conversations are deep and introspective…all the topics are things a often think and journal about. The episodes are long…perfect for listening to while I work or during longer car rides. Nishant does a beautiful job in these juicy conversations...Read full review »

I have been listening to this podcast since a couple of episodes now. These interviews are so amazingly designed that they not only talk about the technicalities of urban sketching but also dives really deep into the artist’s mind. It is fascinating to know their process and thoughts behind a...Read full review »

I am just a few weeks into urban sketching. Being a long time drawer of aliens and monsters, I never realized how little I know about perspective and the real world. During my quest for as much information as my brain can handle, I have taken online classes, read blogs, and watched live draws,...Read full review »

Several times the interviewees have said “Is there a question there”. This is a clear sign that you are lecturing and pontificating, not interviewing. LESS Nishant, more answers. PLEASE.

These podcasts are about the guests rather than the presenter. He allows artists the space to answer his questions and sits back and actually seems to listen to them rather than butting in with the next question or trite comments. A gem.

Really enjoy each interview…the conversational style is relaxed and the questions are intelligent and super interesting. Each artist soon “warms up” and, in very little time, they are really engaged in the conversation. Great to listen to and full of very insightful information.

A really interesting interview each episode with an artist. Even if you’re not an urban sketcher, you’ll still find the artists talking about their creative processes fascinating. And Nishant, the host, is knowledgeable and curious.

I’ve enjoyed listening to every podcast because each one gives me a new gem to think about and incorporate into my work. Nishant’s questions come from his own curiosity and always unveil an insight into the artists work. Totally worth a listen!

I've just listened to the Feb. 12 "looking back" episode and can't wait for time to listen to the rest. Excellent interviews. Fascinating artists who all approach their urban sketching in unique ways. Thanks, Nishant!Read full review »

I’m a relatively new urban sketcher and I’m enjoying these conversations with some sketchers I’ve been following and others who are new to me more than I thought I would. Very thoughtful conversations and very motivating.

I’m trying to learn how to draw comics and incorporate urban sketching into my panels. Nishant is an excellent interviewer and conversationalist. Highly recommend to anyone looking to understand the ways in which talented artists see and hone their craft.

A true source of inspiration! Sketchers share their techniques and thoughts about drawing in general and urban sketching in particular and Nishant does a great job as a host!

A very well-paced and informative podcast discussing artists (mainly in the urban sketching field) and how they came to be and how they see/do their craft. Very useful tips and lots of inspiration.
