The Social League - Getting Better Every Time
After a dozen episodes, 'The Social League' has provided fascinating conversations and intriguing audible content. Much of the credit belongs to the guests who are willing to be honest in their answers but it also belongs to the host, Mr. Alessandro Allaman. Allaman conveys himself as easy to talk to and is natural in his interviews but handles it all like a professional. He clearly does his research and it all flows so well in the discussion. At this point, he is clearly comfortable asking questions and isn't intimidated to have a long conversation anymore. Admittedly, that was a flaw with the podcast at first but I feel he's learned that there is no limit for what we can learn, which is the point of this podcast. Through the material given, there is a chance for such enticing and eloquent substance and that has been conveyed. However, if I am to make a critique, I would say that the introductions could use more of a newscaster tone and approach as interviewing is related to journalism, but one that doesn't resemble a parody. All in all, 'The Social League' is definitely getting better every time. If it keeps managing to find guests with interesting insights and Allaman maintains the overarching appraoch to the podcast, I look forward to hearing more.Read full review »

Alessi keeps this podcasts very diverse in terms of guests that come on, and ideas that are being presented. He does a great job of creating discourse with his guests, but allows them plenty of time to tell their stories, this allows ideas to be easily proposed, shared, and understood.
