Full of waffle; Devoid of content
You're unlikely to learn anything from this podcast, except maybe about the courses and seminars that the creators are incessantly plugging. I downloaded this with an interest in Social Engineering, and listened to a podcast about whether NLP was really useful, or just hype. After about 10 minutes of tedious "banter" between three or four men telling in-jokes about some conference they'd been to (interspersed with plugs for courses that they offer), they introduced an expert who actually worked in the field they were discussing - NLP. Rather than trying to learn anything from her, they immediately tried to get her to take sides in some pointless argument they had between themselves, with lots of "jokes" about who was always right and who was always wrong. When the expert could finally get a word in edgeways, they didn't try to glean anything useful from her, and her approach was pretty much ridiculed straight away by one of the presenters "joking" that he had been abused at the age of two. I'm sure that. as a professional therapist, this woman would have dealt with people who had been abused as children, so I can't imagine how he thought this would be funny. At that point, I had to switch off. During the 20 minutes or so that I listened to the podcast, I learned nothing about Social Engineering. The presenters seem to claim that they're skilled in the field, but that seems highly unlikely on the strength of this podcast. If what you're looking for is the sound of three men making in-jokes and "bantering" with each other, then you may find this of some interest. If you're looking to learn anything about Social Engineering, you'll be wasting your time.Read full review »

The rest of each episode is just the hosts' inept ribbing of one another, and banal discussions about which...Read full review »

One of the people who sometimes decides to show up on the show thinks it is hilarious to play Bruce Hornsby. It's not funny dude. It was...Read full review »
