Major eye-opening experiences
Listening to TSOE right from the beginning and practising it since 1998, I think I have a basic idea about value pricing. I also own virtually all the important books on the topic ranging from Alan Weiss, through Ron and Mahan all the way to Reed Holden. But episode #182 on the value conversation had some huge aha moments for me, especially the assuage – pivot - close process. I’ve got the episode transcribed (first time ever) and ended up with almost 10 pages of densely typed MS Word notes. Then I translated Ed’s buyer-seller role play to my specific area, and ended up with some really valuable conversation pieces. And now I’m digging deeper in to the Peter Block episode. There are some amazing points there too. I really enjoy the dyna mic of the podcast. Some dialogues between Ron and Ed, some interviews and the Free Rider Fridays. Amazing variety. You really found your grove on the fateful Independence Day in 2014 and have been on a roll ever since. Keep up the great work.
