Great show. Followed Steve's career since the Hollywood Blondes days. This cat has raw talent no matter what he does whether its wrestling, movies, TV, or in this case, radio. I have respect for what he's done in the "business" and the heights he's brought it to with his accomplishments and talent. For fans of radio and not necessarily wrestling, you may like his straightforward and blue collar views on the world. I do. He does it without being overly dramatic or brow beating the listener. He assumes you are smart enough to get what he's saying and that's a good thing. He did self-promote quite a bit at the start of the show but that's just his good business sense. If you are a fan of his work and you want to know where you can see him and how, he provides that info. My only criticism would be that he should spread out the self promotion over several shows so that the focus could be at a per project basis. Just enough to whet the appetite and use a carrot-on-a-stick approach. Felt a little bombarded, but that's just me. Great storyteller when it comes to old wrestling tales. The road tales never get old. Good to hear him tackle the gun control issue. I feel that he was a little safe about it but he got his point across without sounding like a political talk show host ( that's not the point of the show, per se). All in all, I enjoyed it. Once he gets into a solid rhythm, I can see this thing growing and getting better. Maybe end up on Howard 101 seeing as he's been a recurring guest of Stern's show over the years. But it's gotta crawl before it can run and I'm sure he knows that. Will be tuning in next week and recommend others do the same and that's the bottom line.....Read full review »

Great audio quality, And good production behind this iTunes podcast. Steve Austin has a great personality as we all know and turns normal things into great humor. Has a great meaning for things also. Never boring and he comes up with hilarious one liners.
