Description
Show Notes On this week’s podcast, Dan and Kris welcome the return of the Alphabet Soup-er Series! Each month, they choose a classic game to play that starts with the next sequential letter of the alphabet. This month’s letter was K, and Kris chose The Karate Kid for NES. Does this Atlus-developed beat em up hold up? Was it ever any good in the first place? Is it ever a good idea to use up to jump in any game that isn’t a one on one fighter? At the top of the show, Dan wasn’t feeling all that well, so he didn’t have time to play a lot of games outside of getting a platinum trophy in Spider-Man 2. Kris, on the other hand, had a lot to say about the Metal Gear Collection, Contra: Operation Galuga, Attack of the Karens, and more. Plus, he rearranged his basement, and was looking for help making the hard decisions. And by hard decisions, we mean which game systems to have on display. In Week Old News, Sea of Stars gets 3-player co-op, the Video Game Hall of Fame nominees are looking really good, someone fused a GameCube, N64, and Wii together for some reason, and more!
