Beautifully crafted and sympathetically told.
A cut above other podcasts in the same genre because it tells the horrific story of this murder through those who were involved without the ego of the storyteller, Isla Traquair being imposed upon the listener, despite her involvement at the time as a newspaper reporter. I found the discussions with Melanie’s mother, Susan particularly poignant. She speaks about something no parent should ever face in such a down-to-earth way. Her interviews were skilfully thread into the podcast alongside those from some of the professionals involved.

This is really great. Just listened to a few not so great crime podcasts and this really stands out. Can’t wait to listen to them all!

This is really well done. Can’t wait for the next episode.

Having a produced ad immediately followed by a spoken ad within 3 minutes of it starting is just awful. Then again in the middle and again at the end. There’s plenty of other podcast or doing that in this genre. Enjoy those.
