I enjoy their banter to an extent however at least fifty percent of every episode is a recap of the three host’s personal weekly goings-on. When (if) they reach a point when they’re discussing the film review it’s highly entertaining and provides a great deal of unique insight and perspective. The show lost something when Vic left. There was something about his gout/alcohol binge tales and general disdain for the source material that made the forty-five minutes worth it. Lately I find myself pushing the 30 second skip far more often.

The hosts are both genuine and hilarious, and with the right dose of wacky fill-ins (especially Jony, but also Gene). Listening feels like catching up with old friends. I am very glad I found this podcast on the dark-sleep web!
