Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just put your product, service, or idea out there once, and people just showed up consistently to throw money your way?  It would be incredible, but business doesn’t always work out that way. You have to actually market your business. You have to show up on social media, buy ads, create a website, start a yelp page, be a podcast guest, get a booth at a trade show (the list goes on and on)— to get the word out and get sales.  Now that doesn’t sound all that sexy now does it? Hell no. Marketing sounds like a whole lot of work + a whole lot of money. And because of that, most entrepreneurs skip marketing altogether and then get pissed when the sales, clients, and opportunities don't show up.  The bottom line is that if you want a thriving business, you have to be intentional about marketing.
