Accessible, entertaining, informed
This is an impressive work of intellectual history and apologetics that would be very accessible to undergrads. Haven't listened to the rest of the series, but I think it's probably equally good. This episode doesn't get to sex and Louise Perry until the latter half. The first part is a historical argument about the specious idea of self evident universal human rights. The middle is about power in the ancient world and Christianity's radical break. Then you finally get back to sexual revolution. A very complex, multi-layered argument that keeps you engaged and is super accessible.Read full review »
