“I know that this message probably won't be read, or even taken into account because I am just one person, but I'm still going to write it anyway.
I have been following TTA from the beginning, and have loved it.
But I am honestly one epsiode away from unsubscribing.
Mundy -- Please. Stop Talking About Politics On This Show.
I don't even disagree with your political views, but it needs to stop.
The rest of the world right now is wall-to-wall politics, so comedy podcasts like TTA have been a much needed escape, even if for only an hour.
But now it feels like Nick is bringing up politics every week, and it's ruining my ability to enjoy the episodes.
I don't want the Blade Watch-A-Long to be ruined by hearing about how you think Stephen Dorff looks like he's in the Alt-Right. I don't want the Santa Claus Tournament to be 75% just Mundy talking about how Tim Allen is a Conservative F*** Who Used To Deal Cocaine. And those are just the two most recent ones I listened to, it's been happening a lot lately.
And it's not just that you make the comment once and then move on. You go back to it repeatedly through out the episodes (it was the only point you made about Tim Allen in every round of the tournament).
So I'm going to give the show another week, but I will have to unsubscribe and look for my comedy escape elsewhere if it keeps happening.”Read full review »
