Another interview recorded in an echo-filled hotel ballroom at a TEFL conference? No thanks! I'm tired of playing the same passages multiple times to be able to understand what somebody said amidst the noise. A shame, really, because some of the content is quite interesting.

I love the TEFLOLOGY podcast because of the thoughtful takes on various topics and interviews. I've learned about ELTs and researchers that I didn't know I'd be interested in through TEFLOLOGY. Thank you for keeping this up! Now that this podcast has been around for a couple years, the cumulative...Read full review »

Best podcast I've been able to find on TEFL or Applied Linguistics. Find it fun and informative and I appreciate the work that goes into researching segments :)

I love the funny theme song and there is enough variety to keep in interesting for a non-academic like me. There are interviews with people who have stories to tell - some of them are big and famous people who wrote the book on ELT and some of them should be more famous than they are. I love the...Read full review »

The Teflologists came to fill a long-standing gap left by the Edgycation podcast. A place where teachers spread around the world can find news and listen to the different teaching techniques, fads, and trends. A great episode was a great interview with prof. Nina Spada at JALT 2014 - great...Read full review »

As a teacher, this is my favourite TEFL podcast. The format of each show let's them fit in a lot of interesting content. I've especially enjoyed learning about notable "TEFL Pioneers" and how they worked. I'm looking forward to listening to more episodes this year.

I found this podcast about a month before starting in an MA TESOL program (Fall 2015) and found it very interesting and enjoyable to listen to. I caught up on all of the episodes before starting my first semester and continue to keep up as new episodes are made. The topics discussed in the...Read full review »

As an EFL teacher I have found this podcast incredibly informative and really interesting. It's also quite funny and entertaining. A lot of the things talked about are areas I have followed up on (or would like to), and used to inform my lesson planning and teaching. Thanks guys!
