Thank you for this episode and your show overall. I love to use guesthouses and communicate with local when I travelling. You know, I have been more than 30 countries, Russia is my home, and I dream to… have a trip like your experience (from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok).

This is an interesting, fun and relatable podcast about, as the name says, thoughtful travel. Amanda Kendle interviews travelers from around the world about places, experiences and travel philosophy both while traveling and at home. Pour a cuppa and have a listen.

Describing themselves as in-experienced hikers, Amanda and Catherine’s conversation delves into both the practical and the psychological aspects of undertaking a long, multi-day hike (walk, bushwalk, meander, mosey, ramble). A great listen for anyone who dreams of undertaking a big walk, but...Read full review »

Great podast. I explore a lot of travel podcasts, and really appreciate this one takes a bit of a deeper dive into subjects as oppose to skating over. Episodes are entertaining too and guests a joy to listen to. A great formula!

Not just because she likes to travel the same way we do - slowly and while living as much as possible like a local. But also because she brings in many different voices to tell their travel stories, and she's one of the best interviewers I've heard for this type of format - the people are...Read full review »

I’m usually not a big podcast person; I usually feel like hosts waste time with boring/irrelevant chit-chatting, or selling products instead of providing value. Amanda is not like this at all: she’s fun and conversational, yet she gets right to the point, the “meat and potatoes” of each episode,...Read full review »
