Much depends on the columnists who are on - Aronovitch and Finkelstein consistently good, for instance and I have got used to Matt Chorley’s blokeish delivery - which I quite like. Drop the focus group item - it was awful just now PS. The question by question analysis today of PMQs with Patrick Maguire - almost in real time - was excellent : an original idea and the analysis + comment spot on Well done ! Red Box 3 Feb Just listened to the start of this pod. All contributors wrong about when Labour first proposed a windfall tax on the energyI wasn’t earlier this week but the 8 th Jan ( if not before ) when they also proposed waiving VAT on energy bills You should be able to do a lot better than this Just listened to the focus group item - dire in the extreme - sounded like a really bad episode of the Archers with the Grundys to the fore Studios discussion with the pollster little better ! Just listened to a focus group pod with folk from Wakefield - none of whom were aware of the impending by-election ! How on earth are the focus group people selected ? Just listened to the latest focus group episode. Nauseating

I like Matt Chorley's take on the politics, I do not like that he doesn't like cats.
