I can't believe I'm the first.
I have been listening to this podcast since about the third podcast and I have to say that it is one of my favourite podcasts, and IMHO the best one on physics out there. But Wait! Don't roll your eyes and walk away. I know said physics but its presented in a really fun and cool way. The analogies are so funny and the use of bees is imaginative. And best of all everyone gets really good fruit at the end. I love science and especially physics, and listening to these guys as they walk you through topics as diverse as the Solar Neutrino Problem (turns out there wasn't one) to Black Holes and Gravity waves (very scary). I can see that they have this joy and love for the subject too. Listening to them has caused me to burst out laughing on the train to work. Once I had to lift my headphones and say "Its all right, its only physics." And anyone that can inform you and make you laugh at the same time can't be that bad and you never know. You too may just learn something new and wonderful along the way.Read full review »

These guys have a great time coming up with new analogies (rather than recycling the old ones that may or may not work for you), to explain all sorts of physics issues. I love that they cover everyday stuff like the Northern Lights and lightning, while explaining some of the more complex theory...Read full review »
