“Prof. Olsen is steeped in the lore of Tolkien's works and has a good knowledge and recall of these facts. There is a lot of information for people interested in the Hobbit, Lord of the Rings and Silmarilion but I would offer a word or two of caution. Firstly, there are some decidedly 'off' pronunciations used by the good prof. (Smorg?). Secondly, for those who have read Tolkien's works a few times, there are some points where critical information is omitted (Uruloki?). Finally, there is far too much mention of religion, in every episode, even going so far as to use rhetoric.”
