“I'll admit right from the start, I am a football podcast junkie (though, of course, I watch games, too). Listening to these podcasts is not only a great way to learn about the game - the tactics, the drama, the narratives (I am a relative newcomer so I am always looking for the backstory) - but it is also entertaining to listen to people interact with each other around a common theme. For both of those reasons, I would rank The Total Soccer Show podcast up there with The Football Ramble, The Game, Football Weekly, World Football Daily and Soccer Report Extra, to name just a few. This is where I come to learn about the U.S. men's team (and I am really curious to see how they are going to cover the Women's World Cup!). In addition, I really appreciate the fact that they have started the American equivalent of the DWHOF - I know nothing about the icons of American soccer and look forward to learning more. “This show is a great mix between knolwedgable soccer talk, trivia show, and good natured ribbing. It makes my commutes to work about 1000% more enjoyable for about an hour.
