Description
Jimbo's joined by Adrian Clarke and Sasha Goryunov to look back on an eventful first evening of round of 16 ties at Euro 2024. We begin in Dortmund, where there was lightning, thunder and torrential rain - but it didn't stop Germany from getting the job done in a 2-0 victory over Denmark which wasn't without VAR drama. Seb Stafford-Bloor checks in from a wet and wild Westfalenstadion. Then to Berlin - where holders Italy crashed out of the tournament following a pretty dismal showing against Switzerland in a 2-0 defeat. Michael Cox and James Horncastle are on hand to bring reaction - and ponder what next for the Azzurri and their manager Luciano Spalletti. Finally, it's all eyes on the next two round of 16 ties coming our way on Sunday - with Spain taking on Georgia after England face Slovakia in Gelsenkirchen. Kristian Flak drops in to bring us a flavour of the mood from Bratislava ahead of the game. Produced by Lucy Oliva. Theme music by JJ Bull.
