Is this for real?
I can get past the host’s naturally high pitch voice, but the problem is how he forces himself to hit “notes” much higher than his already high and thin voice, to the point his voice is about to crack every other sentence … I actually laughed a little initially coz I thought he was being dramatic on purpose… but then 15 mins into the show I finally realized he was going to do this for the entire episode… Why? Who told him t do this? The writing may be solid though. Please don’t force yourself to speak like this… even monotone is better.

I dig this podcast. It is EXTREMELY informative and brings up some relatively I know cases for newcomers to true crime. The two part episode about the murders in Florida is an especially compelling entry point for The Trail Went Cold. I would definitely recommend it for fans of true crime.
