Hard to listen to
I really, really wanted & want to like this podcast. He has great interviewees on the show and I think there's definitely room for another ultrarunning podcast like this. That being said, it's like nails on a chalkboard for me to listen to. His voice is so slow and monotone, and generally feels like it's lacking in enthusiasm. He also tends to drag on a bit, so I think preparing what he's going to say more will help him be more succinct and to the point. I had recommended the pre-TNF episode to a friend who wasn't able to spend the time watching the iRunFar interviews and wanted a podcast version, and she couldn't make it through and had to instantly unsubscribe. I am going to keep trying to listen to some of the episodes, but I really hope it improves. If he can work on infusing the podcast with a little more personality & energy, and improve the quality & specificity of interview questions, it will really help.Read full review »
