I usually love anyone who wants to talk about Pratchett, but one of the hosts cannot stop talking about her absurd views on gender and unfortunately her narcissism, typical of everyone who thinks they are of a special sacred class, ruins what could otherwise be a really nice discussion between...Read full review »

I’m not sure what I like better, when Francine and Joanna say something about Discworld that’s the same as something I’ve always thought, or when they say something about Discworld that I’ve never thought of before. Either way, listening to The Truth Shall Make Ye Fret is like hanging out with...Read full review »

So much fun! I only discovered this podcast recently and am having a blast listening to the episodes from the very beginning. Joanna and Francine's interactions, insights, and humour, are perfect accompaniments to the timeless Discworld novels, and I hope they continue making podcasts for...Read full review »

I was very disappointed by this podcast. To take over three hours to discuss The Colour Of Magic and Miss so much is extraordinary. The presenters ramble, fail to accept and understand that the books before Mort and both different and, in truth, not as good - something even Pterry acknowledged....Read full review »

if my best friends were Pratchett fans. (How am I married to someone not a Discworld fan?!) Brilliant discussions, sharp insights, and hilarious tangents. I just feel very very at home with the way these podcasts meander through the subject material. You will laugh out loud often, and possibly...Read full review »

I’m a huge fan! I love listening to the hosts talk about the books as well as their perspectives on “Roundworld” subjects. I find the hosts very relatable and so for me it feels like I’m sitting in on a conversation with close friends. 10/10 would recommend to anyone (except under the context of...Read full review »

Not just the books though but interesting observations and background trivia too. This has been a joy during some quite uninteresting times.

While I came to this podcast because I love Terry Pratchett, it is the banter before the book discussion that keeps me here. I enjoy the tangents as well as the book discussion. Well worth a listen. And I’m pretty sure I know what word was bleeped in episode 7. Well done that.

I have been a fan of Terry Pratchet for years, and I enjoyed listening two of his other fans discussing his stories. One question, I just listened to E7, and couldn’t guess what may have been bleeped?

If you like Sir Terry and eloquent, funny and intelligent women, this is the podcast for you. Absolutely fabulous!

In the venn diagram of my interests, Pratchett plus Podcast geekery, this is a circle. I love that they can reasonably be discussing the details of the books one moment and the next they are talking about other geekery fields.

I love Pratchett and I love podcasts so this is perfection for me. Lots of great discussion of the detail of the Discworld books with two intelligent, funny women.
