Casual yet thorough account of the PTO
I listen to this podcast every night before I sleep so hardly ever catch an entire episode! It’s been highly influential in my ww2 reading and I’ve almost exclusively been focused on the pacific lately. I like how dense with information the episodes are and the context provided by the historians speaking casually. I learn a lot of subtle details about the research & debates that reading alone can’t easily capture. I wonder what will happen to the show after the atom bomb but I’m sure it’ll be appropriate.

Appreciate what you gentlemen do. I’m a 36 year old ww2 buff and have learned a lot. Really love the book recommendations. I’ve read about 1/4 of them but now I’ve got about another decade of reading to do!

The show supposedly about Adm Nimitz developed into a love fest between an admiral and one of the hosts. I had to bail out.
