“Let me start out wanting to give this Afterbuzz Podcast a 5 - BUT I just feel like if the hosts aren't into the show - then they should find NEW HOSTS.
Everytime I listen to them, they seem to be one-sided (DAMON) or they are tired of the show. I want to listen to people discuss the show, whom really love this show (and are not just - it's ok...), point out intersting facts, and point out the flaws - but explain why it was flawed... It's ok if they all have different opinons - THAT's why we listen. BUT I have found this panel too lopsided in whom they enjoy.
Especially Krystin Snyder - if she is done with this show - then get off the panel. Really only Roxy Striar keep them on topic (for Episode Original Sin) and pointed out what we know and such. I've listened to several podcasts with Jess Janedy and company - and have been turned off by EVERYONE being so pro Damon - or just seeming to be done. There are many of out there that love Stefan too. I just don't like to listen when all the hosts are such pro this one charater. Balance it out please.
Let me again state that this show is one of my favorites. I love Damon, I love Stefan, and the rest of the gang. At the heart of this show, is the romantic triangle as was set up in the books (which the writers loosely base it off). I'd rather Elena pick one brother and stay - but that gets boring I guess for a lot of people. BUT at the heart of my complaint is that most of these hosts just seem bored of this show. I think this season is going back to it's roots and more like seasons 1 & 2... Just my opinion. I'll still listen, but please be more balanced.”Read full review »
