Really into this although I’m way behind because I like to track down the films they are talking about before I listen so I can better understand what they’re talking about.

There are those great podcasts you listen to the once and then there’s the ones you return to… again and again. THE VIDEO ARCHIVES with Quentin Tarantino and Roger Avary is one of those golden delights that makes for perfect repeat listens and it’s all down to a combination of comradery and the...Read full review »

More edits: Is Quentin and his family safe? His wife’s family? I am so sorry Israel and its citizens gave been so brutally attacked. Edited to add: I would love for Quentin, Roger and Gala to do an extra sumpin’ sumpin’ Golden Globe discussion as well as The Oscars. I am recommending this...Read full review »

This is one of the best podcasts I’ve come across - and I only discovered it when Tarantino mentioned it in passing in an interview! Roger Avary and Tarantino have the kind of chemistry that only develops between two people who have known each other for decades. They have that almost telepathic...Read full review »

Used to frequent a video store called Movieland in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia, with my family as a kid. My very first DVD purchase (Mad Max) was made there. I can still see the layout in front of me, the desk, the angled shelves, the discussions people would have whilst...Read full review »

My favorite podcast. I love the insight and deep dives into some forgotten gems. Thank you Roger , Quentin and Gala! Please keep it up!

This is such a great podcast. One of the best parts about it (so far) is that Quentin and Roger barely talk about their own films. It’s a conversation between three cinephiles about other people’s movies. I get the desire to mix it up and do this Rick Dalton thing but man…kinda ruins the show...Read full review »

Excellent show. Quentin’s knowledge of Hollywood history is unmatched. Roger and Gala are fun, but Roger needs to stop interrupting.

Just finished Cinema Speculation and discovered this podcast! What a win! Growing up through apartheid South Africa during the 70’s and 80’s cinema was one of the only thing overlooked by the thought police. They did not understand satire, allegory or irony. This has rapidly risen through the ranks to become my favorite podcast. Quentin, Roger and Ala all bring something different to the table… and it’s refreshing that they don’t always agree. It feels honest and genuine and I love it.

C'mon, now. It's Quentin in his element. I don't even mind when he/they are spoiling a movie because it's so infectious and fun hearing about all of these oddball films. The absolute worst part though? Roger's commercials. Irritating, frustrating, and his attemps to switch...Read full review »

An excellent podcast filled with trivia and insights into all sorts of movies. Has also re-ignited that gooesebump-love-feeling of watching films again that I just don’t get anymore. If QT does stop at 10, this is a podcast that could go on as long as they want it to.

This is a truly sublime podcast. The amiable, knockabout camaraderie between Roger, Quentin and Gala is a tonic for the soul. Hoping for an episode on Billy Wilder’s “Kiss Me Stupid” one day too! 😉🫡

A podcast with Roger Avary, Gala Avary, and Quentin Tarantino talking about cinema and movies…what more could you ask for? I don’t want to know.
