What a treat!
This podcast is such a blast! Amazing raconteurship all around. Always fun to hear Corman stories. I’m a Concorde Lumberyard vet circa 90’s. I left a little before the authorities stormed the place. Overall a crazy-fun experience. On a different note, Lois Chiles’s mother & my granny were good friends. My granny loved movies, but was an old fashioned Catholic that made us dress up when we went to the movies with her. So when Moonraker came out, we got dressed up to go see Lois. Granny didn’t know anything else about Moonraker & she turned to petrified wood the first time Lois was introduced as Dr. Holly Goodhead. She didn’t return to her natural state until long after the credits ended. Kinda surprised we stayed for the whole thing, but she was a loyal friend. It was my first Bond film & I thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyhoo, love the show & look forward to more.

As an avid film fan I’m thrilled to have a podcast from Tarantino. Undoubtedly one of my favorite filmmakers. I genuinely adore his perspective on film and how his mind works dissecting the industry. My hope is that this will stick around for a good amount of time.

I love the episodes of The Pure Cinema Podcast that Quentin Tarantino does and now this!? Fantastic!! I love finding out about movies that I don’t know about and QT and Avary certainly deliver. I can’t get enough of this.
