Historical Value
Quentin and Roger. Two video store Nerd’s from the Valley made good. What they are doing here is pure gold. Each episode Roger and Quentin (mostly Quentin) chose three movies to discuss. The movies come from Quentin’s collection from the actual Video Archives store that he has recreated in his mansion in the Hollywood hills. At the end of each episode Quentin reads reviews about the movies covered in the episode from the actual yellowing newspapers from when the movie was released. Roger and Quentin are fascinating to listen to and the discussion can go all over the place (a good thing). What is happening here is historical and relevant in that these movies and times are being put on the record. Two hundred years from now people will benefit from the knowledge being imparted here. It seems everyone loves the Gala portion I do too. I’ve listened to other podcasts that had Quentin and Roger as guest and they were so good. Just a suggestion have a guest each episode (I’m sure people would be drooling to do it) think of it like a customer walks into Video Archives and gets sucked into the conversation between Quentin and Roger. Quentin is most interesting when he has a foil. Everyone off all ages can enjoy this podcast. If you like Blank Check this is essential. I hope this podcast has many, many episodes for years to come. Definitely follow it.

As an avid film fan I’m thrilled to have a podcast from Tarantino. Undoubtedly one of my favorite filmmakers. I genuinely adore his perspective on film and how his mind works dissecting the industry. My hope is that this will stick around for a good amount of time.
