“What sets this retro film podcast apart from the pack is the long friendship between QT and RA. It’s a pleasure to hear them reminisce about their days working in the old Video Archives shop. It’s also fun to hear Roger Avary try and hold his own against QT’s formidable enthusiasm and as old friends they both give as good as they take. I get the sense that nothing has changed in that respect since they worked together all those decades ago. I also enjoy Gala’s take on the movies, as she offers a different generational and gender perspective. Finally, I appreciate that they include how and where the listener can view the film discussed. If you like deep dives into obscure movies of all kinds and you are even a marginal fan of the directors, give it a try. If you are a QT hater, why are you here? Life is short, listen to something else and keep your one star reviews to yourself.”
